Welcome
Thank you for your support of The Festival of the Arts! Your support is key to the success of the event.
Your Role
Now that you have signed up to volunteer at The Festival of the Arts it is important to review your role and importance at the event.
Starting at approximately 5:00pm guest will begin arriving in Lot 3 at The College of New Jersey and will continue until 9:00pm, until their departure at 10:00pm. Each volunteer will have a different role in greeting and allowing the guests to feel welcome.
Some volunteers will be placed at Lot 3 to be the first to welcome the guest to campus and direct them to the designated welcome table. You will be the first impression to The Festival, and play an important part in their overall experience.
Others will be located at the several welcome tables strategically scattered in the area. You will be supplied with programs, beverages, and other small items for the guess. You are their source of information. You will convey your knowledge of the event and put the guests at ease.
Those not stationed at the Lot 3 or welcome table will have the opportunity to be event floaters. You will be able to move around the event and assist where needed. Some may be temporarily stationed to help a fellow volunteer, others will roam around in search of guests that need assistance.
No matter which type of volunteer you are, each and everyone of you is important. As the days count day we look forward to working with you and having a great event!

The Festival of the Arts event team would like to thank those that plan on donating their time to creating an amazing event. On the day of the event, each volunteer will receive a free staff t-shirt to wear, as well as, any of the amenities that the guest will receive. This includes, but is not limited to: a Festival water bottle, a Festival pen, and the reception meal. Please feel free to invite friends and family to partake in this evening of fun!
